AvantiGas are continuously monitoring and assessing developments of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on the International community in Europe. As the confirmed cases continue to grow and spread worldwide, we think first and foremost about the safety of our employees, customers and society.
We are facing an unprecedented situation, that is changing daily. Already we have taken several preventative steps across our organisation to minimize exposure and further spread of the virus. We have recently taken the step to ask the majority of our workforce with an office-based role to work from home, utilizing remote technologies which enable us to operate our services, including call centres, to continue normal daily operations. Through appropriate additional business contingency plans, we follow procedures to prevent and minimize the impact of COVID-19 and therefore ensure the supply of LPG throughout our regions. Should the situation deteriorate, we will activate new steps to ensure that our most vulnerable and critical customers have the gas that they need.
At the present time we expect to keep disruption of our service levels to a minimum. We constantly monitor the situation and amend our precautionary measures and instructions to safeguard our employees and customers based on guidelines and directions issued by local government and national authorities.
Please note, for the foreseeable, delivery receipts will be left under the hood of your bulk LPG tank. This is to continue our promise of safe-guarding our staff and minimising contact wherever possible
