Donation Helps Parkinsons Build Communal Garden

AvantiGas donates to Parkinsons.ME

AvantiGas donation means that parkinsons.me have a new communal garden just in time for summer

At AvantiGas we operate a charity donation scheme whereby our staff are able to nominate and choose up to 4 charities to donate to each year. The charity scheme gives 1 pound for every working hour that is worked without a reporting of injury, disease or dangerous occurrence at work.

This year we have chosen to donate to Parkinsons.me, who support, strengthens and offers a sense of community to people with Parkinsons disease.

Thanks to our funding of £1040, Parkinsons.me are looking forward to a new community garden just in time for summer. The garden will be created by Lockinge Estate and the Country Buildings Protection Trust and will be a focal point for Parkinsons.me work, allowing them to grow healthy food, get fit and for people in the community to socialise.
