AvantiGas prides itself on going above and beyond for its customers. We are aware that we have struggled to meet some customers’ expectations during this very difficult period, for which we sincerely apologise. We are continuing to address issues with individual customers as they arise.
Unprecedented and protracted industry-wide supply shortages, combined with extremely cold and disruptive weather, have resulted in an unparalleled stretch of our resources over the winter period.
We’d like to assure our customers that we have extended operating hours for our logistics and customer service teams, and are utilising all driver and communications resources available. This includes taking advantage of the relief on maximum driver hours provided by the government in order to urgently deliver gas across the UK where it is most needed.
The supply shortage has largely been resolved, and our staff are now working around the clock to catch up on our delivery backlog, with vulnerable customers being our first priority. We are also working closely with our suppliers and UKLPG to identify solutions that will improve supply resilience, should such an unfortunate confluence of events ever occur again.
